R&D Testing Engineer

This position will be responsible for ensuring samples, setting up tests, conducting tests, and preparing reports. Responsibilities include ensuring OHSMS requirements as per ISO 45001 in the lab, adhering to EMS and QMS requirements, ensuring machine calibration and safety checks, and managing machine and tools inventory in the lab. Additionally, maintaining 5S in the Test Lab, providing prompt feedback and corrections for any deviations, managing manpower, and proper document management are key duties.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge in IEC 61439 -1&6, UL 857, and 60529 standards
• Create and update test plans daily
• Strict adherence to test scheduling and sample follow-up
• Conduct various testing systematically with strict compliance to SOP
• Prepare various test reports with utmost care and accuracy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Power Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3 to 4 years of experience in power electronics products/module testing is required
• Familiarity with IEC and UL Standards is an advantage

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to work in hot and humid situations
