As a React Native Developer at Xebia, you will play a pivotal role in creating and maintaining user interface components using React.js. You will be responsible for translating design wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive web applications, as well as building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

Your work will involve ensuring components are modular and maintainable while optimizing for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to ensure the final product meets both business and user requirements.
Furthermore, you will participate in code reviews, write clean, maintainable, and scalable code, and follow best practices for code organization and structure. The role requires writing unit and integration tests to ensure code robustness, debugging and resolving issues, and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Additionally, you will document technical specifications and code for future reference, ensure proper documentation of components and their usage, implement security measures to protect user data and application integrity, and stay informed about common security vulnerabilities.
Core Skills
- Proficiency in React, React.js, and React Native
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Kotlin, Groovy, Java, Redux, Webpack, TypeScript, Babel, NPM/Yarn, RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and GraphQL
- Database management with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
- Familiarity with tools such as Jest, Mocha, Enzyme, ESLint, Prettier, Git, XCode, and Android Studio
- Experience in cloud services, including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure
Experience & Soft Skills
- Total experience of 5-10 years
- Experience in platform/hosting support functionality, preferably in banking
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving existing processes
