React Native Mobile Developer (iOS & Android)

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced React Native Mobile Developer to design, build, test, and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile apps for iOS and Android. You’ll work closely with product owners, business analysts, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native for iOS and Android.
• Build reusable components and scalable mobile app architectures.
• Turn UI/UX designs and wireframes into responsive, polished mobile interfaces.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, session management, and data storage.
• Improve app performance, responsiveness, and memory usage.
• Troubleshoot and fix defects across iOS and Android.
• Implement push notifications, deep linking, and device-specific features.
• Work with QA on unit testing, integration testing, and fixing defects found in UAT.
• Manage app builds, signing, and releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Take part in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards and security best practices.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of mobile app development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on React Native.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• A solid grasp of React concepts: hooks, state management, and component lifecycle.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous operations.
• Familiarity with native iOS and Android development concepts.
• Experience with native modules and third-party SDK integration.
• Knowledge of mobile app security, secure storage, and authentication.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile build tools.
• An understanding of mobile performance optimization and debugging.
• A track record of publishing apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with both React Native CLI and Expo.
• Familiarity with Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
• Experience with Firebase services, analytics, and push notifications.
• Knowledge of biometric authentication, device security, and certificate pinning.
• Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox, or Appium.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and Jira.
