Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Mobile Engineering
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 3+ years dedicated to building, shipping, and maintaining production applications using React Native.
- Proven ability to manage the complete lifecycle for both iOS and Android apps, including native builds, permissions, device testing, and store submission guidelines.
- Deep understanding of mobile performance tuning, memory management, and rendering optimization.
API & Backend Integration
- Extensive experience connecting mobile frontends to backend services using RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
- Strong knowledge of network security, token-based authentication (JWT, OAuth2), and offline-first storage mechanisms.
UI/UX Excellence
- Strong eye for UI/UX design principles, accessibility standards, custom layouts, and smooth mobile animations.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating directly with product designers to evaluate constraints and deliver high-quality user flows.
CI/CD & DevOps
- Hands-on experience configuring CI/CD automation tools (e.g., Fastlane, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitrise, or EAS Build) for automated building, testing, and store releases.
- Experience managing release testing environments (TestFlight, Google Play Beta, Firebase App Distribution) and crash monitoring tools (Sentry, Crashlytics).
NICE TO HAVE
- Hands-on experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.
- Familiarity with React Native’s New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules, Hermes).
- Experience with automated mobile testing frameworks (Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox).
