Position

About the Role
As a vital member of our financial team, your primary responsibilities will include checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy, organizing and securing files, and maintaining cash and cash equivalents in line with company policies. You will be responsible for recording, storing, and analyzing computerized financial information, as well as maintaining accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial data. Your role will require classifying, coding, and summarizing financial data through the use of journals, ledgers, and computers. In addition, you will prepare, maintain, and distribute various financial reports and complete the period-end closing procedures as specified. You will also review, reconcile, and issue invoices, bills, and account statements according to established procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry and mathematical accuracy.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Record, store, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data using journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
  • Review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to procedures.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
  • Address guests' service needs in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate using clear and professional language, ensuring written documents are accurate.
  • Move and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
