Recon Analyst

About the Job: The company is seeking a Recon Analyst to join their team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have experience in banking products and a solid understanding of regulations, processes, and procedures. Responsibilities include completing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations, performing in-depth analysis of discrepancies, and facilitating communication regarding complex break reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.
• Conducting root-cause analysis for exceptions and leading resolution efforts.
• Analyzing trends and entering exception data to ensure proper aging.
• Preparing status reports and assisting in analyzing operational needs.
• Identifying process improvement opportunities.

Skills Requirement:

• Experience with general ledger (GL) reconciliations in various areas (e.g., Branch, ATM, Deposits).
• Knowledge of intercompany, intergroup, and interbranch reconciliations.
• Strong accounting background, including journal entries and financial impacts.
• Familiarity with GL reconciliation applications is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
