Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters, including setup, configuration, upgrades, patching, and monitoring.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of containerized applications.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines integrated with OpenShift and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD).
- Collaborate with application developers, DevOps, and security teams to support containerized application deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cluster issues including node performance, networking, and resource management.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripts and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Monitor cluster health, usage metrics, and enforce policies for optimal performance and resource utilization.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, Red Hat OpenShift updates, and Kubernetes ecosystem developments.
- Provide documentation, training, and guidance to internal teams on OpenShift operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Linux system administration and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent certification is mandatory.
- Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container networking.
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, EFK/ELK stack).
- Understanding of security best practices, RBAC, secrets management, and network policies in OpenShift.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
