Responsibilities and Duties
Proactive Brand Protection

  • Identify, moderate, and enforce counterfeit, lookalike, and other potentially infringing activity affecting the client's brands across the UAE and the Middle East.
  • Research sellers, connected accounts, and repeat offenders, recognizing emerging threats and infringement patterns, and establishing which targets deserve priority.
  • Actively look for enforcement opportunities beyond existing monitoring results and own the end-to-end process of identification, quality assurance, and enforcement of infringing content.
  • Conduct proactive online local-language research beyond Zeal, identifying and mapping significant sellers, connected accounts, and repeat offenders.

Local Marketplace Expertise

  • Demonstrate strong familiarity with the leading e-commerce platforms in the Middle East and their country-specific sites.
  • Understand each platform's requirements, seller behavior, and enforcement processes.
  • Navigate regional access requirements seamlessly.
  • Identify market-specific challenges and opportunities that could improve the client's brand protection coverage.

Regional Language and Market Knowledge

  • Working in Arabic at a professional level, you will understand local terminology, consumer behavior, and regional e-commerce practices.
  • Apply this knowledge to uncover infringing activity that may not surface through standard monitoring.
  • Identify emerging local platforms, channels, seller behaviors, and market-specific threats and trends. Provide concise regional intelligence on what is changing, where the risks are, and where we should focus.
  • Support country-specific research and enforcement requirements.

Intelligence-Led Brand Protection

  • Use the company's Zeal platform alongside your own local marketplace research to find actionable infringement opportunities.
  • Prioritize targets based on risk, scale, and potential impact rather than simply relying on volume.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Work closely with the dedicated company account team, including the Brand Protection Partners, analysts, and operational management.
  • Highlight significant sellers, emerging infringement trends, and regional platform challenges.
  • Provide local market insight to inform enforcement strategy and prioritization.
  • Communicate your findings, progress, and recommendations clearly to the relevant stakeholders.

Essential

  • Professional proficiency in Arabic and fluent English.
  • Strong knowledge of the Middle East's main e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience in online brand protection, intellectual property enforcement, marketplace monitoring, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of counterfeit products, lookalike products, and other forms of online intellectual property infringement.
  • Comfortable conducting detailed online research and analyzing seller behavior.
  • Familiarity with brand protection platforms and analytical tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong data management and interpretation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively identify opportunities, and collaborate effectively with both regional and global teams.
