About the Role
As Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East, you will be responsible for initiating and developing business across the region. This strategic, hands-on position encompasses the entire sales cycle—from market development and lead generation to deal closure and post-sales support. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will manage your territory, accounts, and partnerships, while contributing to the broader regional strategy to drive revenue growth.

Role and Responsibilities
Maintain Business Within New Accounts

  • Achieve revenue, deliveries, margin, and DSO targets for POS, solutions, and services budget.
  • Follow up on customer commitments and needs.
  • Develop close relationships with VARs, distributors, and customers to increase account penetration (increased value adds) for POS business segments: Payment, Mobility, ECR, etc.
  • Advocate for value-add sales: cash back, revenue sharing, and solution-based sales.
  • Provide sales and business support and services to partners/customers.

Business Development

  • Develop closer relationships with local business partners and customers to create conditions for new business opportunities (Transport, Mobile, financial inclusion, etc.) and cross-selling.
  • Dedicate time to develop new markets with new/existing partners.
  • Adhere to the process for market and prospect evaluations.

Lead Internal Actions

  • Be accountable for internal actions with other departments (Marketing, Technical, Legal, Customer Sales Administration, Security, Finance, Treasury, Operations, etc.).
  • Coordinate with Sales Administration, Technical Support, Marketing, and R&D Support to ensure relevant and timely support to partners/customers.

Reporting

  • Provide regular adapted reporting: meeting minutes, trip reports, monthly reports, etc.
  • Utilize SFDC extensively for forecasting and opportunity overview.
  • Develop customer account planning and conduct competitive benchmarking, market updates, and database management.
  • Create monthly forecasts and participate in communication plans (e.g., newsletters).
  • Conduct project, technical, and financial follow-ups on a monthly basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing (Master’s preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in POS systems, payment solutions, or cash register software.
  • Strong payment affinity required, with existing industry networking.
  • Proven track record in regional sales and business development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain robust client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong teamwork, networking, and reporting skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region.
