About the Role
The Regional Security Manager (RSM) for the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Sub-Saharan Africa is a crucial position reporting to the Chief Security Officer (CSO). The RSM leads regional security, crisis management, and business continuity activities to protect employees, assets, information, facilities, and operations while ensuring the implementation of corporate standards throughout the designated geography.

Responsibilities
- Physical Security Oversight:
Conduct site and accommodation security risk assessments, maintain regional security profiles, manage physical security providers, implement mitigation measures, and oversee regional security awareness training and clearances.
- Travel and Executive Protection:
Manage journey-management vendors, develop travel security plans for high- and extreme-risk locations, and coordinate executive protection reviews covering venues, accommodations, routes, and transportation.
- Security Plans:
Produce security plans for events, country evacuations, or other requirements, ensuring execution in accordance with the company Global Security format and standards.
- Investigation:
Conduct various types of investigations as per the company Global Security’s policy, following established techniques and procedures.
- Intelligence and Crisis Response:
Liaise with security agencies, embassies, and government intelligence organizations; lead incident response teams; develop evacuation and emergency plans; test response strategies; and support drills, tabletop exercises, business continuity, and rapid operational recovery.
Experience and Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of five (5) years of combined experience in corporate security, law enforcement, military investigative, intelligence, legal, or police roles, or equivalent corporate experience, preferably within risk management.
- Minimum of five (5) years conducting and/or directing investigations.
- Previous training and experience in identifying, investigating, and mitigating sophisticated threat actors targeting protected information or technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, multicultural, multilingual environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to unify diverse teams for common objectives.
Additional Qualifications
- Leadership experience in corporate security, legal, intelligence, counterintelligence, military, and/or law enforcement with international responsibilities.
- Established network of security contacts and contracts in the EMEA region.
- Experience in responding to international crises and directing effective responses.
- Proficiency in English and French; fluency in Arabic is a plus.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn physical security assessment protocols and preventative measures.
Travel Requirements
- May include up to 30% domestic and international travel.
