As a senior leader within the Global CIO organisation, you’ll coordinate with Finance, Human Resources, Risk and Compliance, Procurement, Corporate Real Estate, Protective Security, Regulatory Compliance and other Corporate Functions. You’ll improve reporting governance, data quality and standardisation while enabling better decision-making through modern platforms, automation, analytics and the responsible use of AI.

What you’ll do

Lead reporting and governance

  • Establish a consistent framework for regional technology reporting.
  • Lead reporting for governance forums, executives, regulators and external audits.
  • Improve reporting quality, automation and governance.
  • Promote data literacy and data-driven decision-making.

Enable transformation, analytics and AI

  • Drive adoption of enterprise data platforms and strategic technology capabilities.
  • Promote standardised and reusable solutions over bespoke development.
  • Enable automation, workflow optimisation, self-service reporting and AI-supported insight.
  • Improve operational efficiency through modern engineering and digital capabilities.

Lead stakeholder engagement and investment governance

  • Build effective partnerships across Technology, Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Risk and Compliance, Internal Audit, Data Offices and external regulators where required.
  • Influence strategic decisions through insight, collaboration and effective governance.
  • Support investment prioritisation, business cases and portfolio decisions through transparent, data-driven analysis.

Strengthen standards, risk and resilience

  • Promote Group technology standards, architecture principles, common platforms and shared services.
  • Reduce duplication across Corporate Functions.
  • Ensure reporting complies with regulatory, internal control and governance requirements.

What you’ll bring

  • A full-time university degree of at least three years’ duration is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. Degrees obtained outside the UAE must have valid attestation and equivalency documentation.
  • 10 or more years of experience leading Enterprise Technology, Data Governance or Technology Strategy functions within financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulatory environments, enterprise governance and reporting requirements.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering enterprise-wide technology and data strategies.
  • Experience establishing reporting, data governance and control frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise data management, analytics and responsible AI capabilities.
  • A sound understanding of enterprise architecture, technology platforms and integration strategies.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience supporting investment prioritisation and business cases.
  • Experience working with regulators, auditors and senior governance forums.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and executive communication skills.

Why this role matters

You’ll help create a simpler, more consistent and future-ready reporting environment across the company’s Corporate Functions—improving transparency, reducing duplication and enabling better decisions through trusted data and modern technology. The company is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and heard. We’re proud to provide a workplace that supports continuous professional development, flexible working and opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment.
