The Regulatory/Murex Business Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of key financial regulations including MiFID, EMIR, SFTR, Dodd Frank, etc. The role involves analyzing regulatory requirements, assessing vendors on their reporting solutions, reviewing technical and functional designs, validating the solution, and liaising with different teams for successful implementation of regulatory reporting. In addition to regulatory solution responsibilities, the Business Analyst will also act as a Murex business analyst.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and document user requirements related to MiFID, EMIR, and SFTR regulations and translate them into functional specifications.
- Act as a key liaison with Global Markets teams (business and supporting functions), IT teams, and vendors.
- Lead vendor RFP from a technology perspective and assess vendor solutions.
- Participate in discussions with business stakeholders to understand their needs and transform them into regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Work on non-regulatory aspects as a Murex front office analyst.
- Define the systems and data requirements and validate the systems design and processes from both functional and technical perspectives.
- Develop and refine various business/functional/testing requirements in support of the project and systems involved.
- Configuration of the solution as per requirements where applicable.
- Creation of test plans, test cases, and execution of system testing.
- Contribute to User Training activities, including preparation of user training guides and presentations.
- Follow up with vendor support to resolve bugs/issues.
- Ensure technical and functional handover of the project and changes to the relevant teams.
- Assist in developing business and operational processes and participate in developing system training artifacts when required.
Mandatory Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Regulatory Business Analyst with a strong understanding of regulations (MiFID, SFTR, EMIR, Dodd Frank, etc.).
- Knowledge of Murex to support front office developments.
- Expertise in multiple asset classes (at least 2 of the following): FXMM, Security Financing, IR vanilla and exotic derivatives, Equity Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, FX Derivatives, etc.
- Strong exposure to FO Modules of Murex (E-Tradepad, Simulation, Livebook, RTPM, Pre-Trade Workflow, Market Data, Dynamic Tables, P&L Notepad, FDI Templates, Blotters, Risk Matrices).
- Experience in leading and delivering projects and in Murex v3.1 implementation and support regarding front office capabilities.
- Excellent knowledge of Capital Markets products and processes, front to back.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication.
- Minimum relevant work experience of 7-10 years in a Bank or IT Company.
- Proven record of stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of Global Markets products and practices, covering pricing, limit checks, booking, risk management, accounting generation, settlements, and confirmation generation.
- Technical aptitude and relevant experience with bank systems and processes.
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Postgraduate degree or qualification in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration.
