About the Role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team. This role will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for SAUDI NATIONALS ONLY. This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days a week of in-office work.
We’re looking for a Lead Specialist – Transactional Services who will participate in the end-to-end lifecycle of Re-insurance Broking. This role presents an opportunity to enhance your knowledge and leadership skills while leading Change Management initiatives during system and process migrations.
In your first 30 days, you are expected to gain in-depth knowledge of the service you handle and understand role requirements. By 60 days, you should attain competency and have a solid grasp of processes and systems. Within 90 days, you will be expected to technically lead the team and be the point of contact for all technical escalations and process improvements, facilitating discussions and building relationships with clients, reinsurers, business units, and placing brokers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in knowledge sharing forums across onshore and offshore locations.
- Collaborate with peers on complex or contentious reinsurance developments and provide training, mentoring, and guidance within the team or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing.
- Provide insights into complex technical jargon and clarify procedures.
- Participate in System Release Testing, including enhancements and regressions, and report bugs.
- Mentor and train team members to foster their technical and professional growth within the organization.
- Manage an assigned client portfolio, including transactional processing, follow-up on reinsurance recoveries, collateral management, and timely and accurate entry of all client activity in systems.
- Assess and submit client and/or reinsurer presentation materials and communications to resolve queries and secure reinsurer agreement and payment of claims and account balances.
- Work with fiduciary and/or collections departments to assist in the collection of funds.
- Manage timely settlement of funds to and from clients, ensuring all applicable payment warranties and conditions are met while taking ownership of the end-to-end process.
- Interact with other company areas (Compliance, Finance, etc.) on sensitive topics.
- Network with external groups to enhance your own knowledge of the technical area.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory guidelines, participating in internal/external audits at team level to ensure adherence to compliance mandates.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications / Experience
- Demonstrates knowledge of technical and functional insurance and reinsurance concepts, terms, and contract clauses.
- SAUDI NATIONAL ONLY
- Knowledge of market practices within technical domain areas.
- Ability to mentor and coach team colleagues, building passion and commitment towards team, department, and organizational goals.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to implement ideas and solutions to enhance processes in a changing environment.
- Familiarity with markets, legislation, regulators, and procedures governing our business.
- Technical aptitude, analytical skills, and the ability to acquire subject matter expertise on existing and new processes.

- Graduate degree (Commerce preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in reinsurance broking within operations.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring technical experts.
- In-depth knowledge of reinsurance concepts, market systems, general business trends, financial, and regulatory impacts on organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
Preferred Qualifications
- CII certification.
- Post-graduation or certificate courses in Insurance.
- Adaptable communicator, facilitator, influencer, and problem solver.
- Strong relationship skills with a proven ability to work independently or in a team.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize time effectively.
- Understanding of RPA and various process enhancement tools.
