Position

As a Relationship Manager, your role is to acquire, grow and deepen WM Banking relationships through effective relationship management, with a special focus on the analysis and satisfaction of WM customers, aiming to meet budgeted volumes. Job Description:

  • Drive the team to generate new business to achieve defined sales targets and team targets across assets and liabilities.
  • Conduct joint calls with team members to increase business and acquire new relationships, performing daily team huddles and monthly performance reviews as per prescribed guidelines.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members by setting objectives, identifying development needs, and managing performance to optimize individual contributions and manage staff attrition.
  • Build and deepen relationships with existing RAK elite/wealth management customers to increase share of wallet and revenues, and assess the quality, potential, and profitability of new relationships as well as the existing portfolio.
  • Ensure that the service standards of RAK elite/wealth management are met and maintained, and ensure nil undesirable business is sourced, while facilitating team members to clear IS certification within stipulated deadlines.
  • Provide comprehensive information on IS products available to enable customers to make informed decisions; keep customers updated on current market trends and global economic policies, delivering professional customer service to achieve high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare, recommend, and review credit applications for cards and funded/non-funded facilities, ensuring proper documentation and timely draw-down, while managing an incremental portfolio of relationships, liabilities, AUM, and assets.
  • Advise and promote other products of the bank to customers, referring potential leads and facilitating maximum conversions; cross-sell various bank products to minimize attrition.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the entire product and service range available and keep abreast of market developments, both global and local.

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 5+ years’ experience in branch banking, operations, and relationship management or customer service, preferably in a similar HNWI relationship management role.
  • CISI level 3 and UAE rules and regulations certification.
