Experience Required: 6+ Years

The DevOps Engineer will have expertise in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Prometheus/Grafana monitoring. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain GitLab repositories, users, permissions, and branching models.
  • Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects.
  • Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot services running on Native Kubernetes clusters.
  • Manage artifacts and packages using Nexus Repository Manager or equivalent.
  • Execute and improve release management processes including versioning, branching strategy, release notes, deployment plans, and rollback procedures.
  • Support deployment models such as Blue/Green, Canary, and Rolling deployments.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and logging using ELK Stack and Grafana.
  • Follow and enforce best practices in DevOps, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and environment governance.
  • Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure consistent delivery processes.
  • Apply basic security practices to pipelines, clusters, and repository systems.
  • Assist in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and environment health reviews.
  • Maintain documentation for pipelines, deployments, processes, and operational runbooks.

Required Technical Skills:

  • DevOps & CI/CD: Strong experience with GitLab and the ability to build, maintain, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Native Kubernetes clusters. Understanding of Pods, Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, and Secrets.
  • Repository Management: Experience with Nexus Repository Manager, managing artifacts and containers.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Proficiency with ELK Stack and Grafana.
  • Release & Deployment: Understanding of release cycles, Blue/Green deployments, and rollback strategies.
  • Security & Compliance: Basic understanding of secure CI/CD pipelines and secret management.
  • Development Skills: Ability to read and understand application code and perform basic scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and ownership.
  • Ability to work under pressure during release windows.
