Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the release calendar for all product lines, coordinating across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
- Oversee version control, ensuring consistent tagging, documentation, and traceability of all code changes.
- Define and improve release management processes, including approvals, rollback strategies, and release readiness checks.
- Coordinate and communicate upcoming releases, feature rollouts, and hotfixes with all stakeholders.
- Work closely with Product Managers to prioritize and align business requirements with release plans.
- Identify and mitigate release-related risks, ensuring minimal downtime or user impact.
- Monitor and report release metrics, post-release performance, and process improvements.
- Support compliance and audit requirements related to release documentation and change management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software release management, preferably in Fintech, Banking, or SaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control systems.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agile or DevOps culture is highly desirable.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple releases in parallel.
