Release Manager

We are looking for an experienced Release Manager to oversee the end-to-end release process for our fintech platforms. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing software releases across multiple environments, ensuring smooth deployment, version control, and alignment among development, QA, and product teams. You will play a key role in bridging technical delivery and business priorities, maintaining a balance between speed, quality, and compliance in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the release calendar for all product lines, coordinating across engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Oversee version control, ensuring consistent tagging, documentation, and traceability of all code changes.
• Define and improve release management processes, including approvals, rollback strategies, and release readiness checks.
• Coordinate and communicate upcoming releases, feature rollouts, and hotfixes with all stakeholders.
• Work closely with Product Managers to prioritize and align business requirements with release plans.
• Identify and mitigate release-related risks, ensuring minimal downtime or user impact.
• Monitor and report release metrics, post-release performance, and process improvements.
• Support compliance and audit requirements related to release documentation and change management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software release management, preferably in Fintech, Banking, or SaaS environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control systems.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile or DevOps culture is highly desirable.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple releases in parallel.
