Position

The Maintenance Program & Reliability Engineer plays a key role in ensuring compliance with GCAA CAR M regulations by developing, analyzing, and optimizing aircraft maintenance programs. This role focuses on enhancing fleet reliability by identifying trends, implementing technical solutions, and driving continuous improvements in maintenance strategies. Through data analysis and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, the engineer ensures cost-effective, safe, and efficient maintenance planning and aircraft operation.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and manage a cost-effective Reliability Control Program aligned with UAE GCAA regulations.
  • Compile and analyze monthly reliability reports, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
  • Review aircraft defects, technical delays, and component removals to detect trends and implement solutions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and propose engineering solutions.
  • Lead Reliability Control Program Committee meetings and track action items.
  • Enhance reliability processes through technology and innovative solutions.
  • Prepare safe, efficient, and cost-effective Maintenance Programs.
  • Support The Lead Maintenance Program Engineer in annual AMP review meetings.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, vendors, and other stakeholders to update AMPs.
  • Gather data for Maintenance Check and component life escalation to optimize maintenance.
  • Assess the impact of modifications and configuration changes, ensuring timely AMP updates.
  • Work closely with the Planning Department to implement and forecast AMPs effectively.
  • Monitor structural, CPCP, and sampling program results, adjusting maintenance programs as needed.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, meeting the eligibility for Chartered Engineer membership.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in airline engineering or 5 years in technical commercial aviation with CAR 66 license or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) and FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis).
  • Proficiency in analytical tools, including PowerBi, SQL, and Python.
