Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Receive and plan for inspection and repair of customer property.
- Prepare the Work Order (WO) including the required scope in Oracle, share it with the workshop supervisor, and follow up to assure the scope is adhered to.
- Review the quality inspection reports to ensure correct information is captured and the required scope is maintained.
- Review the engineering disposition to confirm the scope of work required and select the proper vendor to execute the job.
- Issue the Purchase Order Request (POR) and follow up with sourcing to assure timely issuance of the Purchase Order.
- Share required spare parts with the material team along with timeframes to ensure on-time delivery of equipment.
- Follow up with vendors to assure smooth operations and on-time project completion.
- Ensure all equipment repairs and refurbishments are carried out safely and to the standards set by the company.
- Complete required training on time and comply with all company rules, including Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements.
- Occasionally work at customer locations as part of the company’s on-site services.
- Report any unsafe conditions to the safety officer to enable remedial action for risk management.
Education, Training, Experience:
- Holding a bachelor’s degree or high diploma (Bachelor of Engineering preferred).
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Experience with Oracle ERP is advantageous.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain effective communication.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift).
- Climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
- Work in confined spaces when required.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools.
- Perform repetitive movements.
Environmental Conditions:
- Exposure to extreme weather conditions.
- Exposure to loud noise levels requiring hearing protection.
- Work in high places and confined spaces.
- Exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals.
- Work around moving mechanical parts.
- Work in hot and cold temperatures.
Safety Requirements:
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in regular safety training.
- Complete required safety certifications.
- Comply with all environmental regulations.
This Position May Require:
