About the Job:
The company is seeking a Reporting Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. The Power BI Specialist will be responsible for the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of interactive dashboards, reports, and data models to support effective project decision-making across the Master Planning, Engineering, and Construction phases. This role involves transforming complex cost, schedule, and performance data into insightful visual analytics using Power BI and related Microsoft tools.
The position requires close collaboration with Project Controls, Cost, Planning, Engineering, and Digital/IT teams to understand reporting requirements, define data structures, and ensure consistent and timely reporting aligned with project and client standards. The role supports performance monitoring by highlighting trends, variances, risks, and constraints for management attention.

Major Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Translate business and project controls requirements into effective data models and analytics.
- Integrate data from various project systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Define and maintain metadata standards and support synchronization across multiple PMIS platforms.
- Prepare supporting narratives and commentary to accompany dashboards.
- Provide Power BI support for ad hoc analysis and management requests.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- 7–12 years of relevant experience in reporting, analytics, or project controls environments, with hands-on Power BI development experience.
- Experience supporting large, complex infrastructure or construction projects, preferably within KSA or the wider Middle East.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling and dashboard design best practices.
- Strong experience with project controls data, including cost, schedule, and performance reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and its integration with Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to present clear, actionable insights.
- Knowledge of data validation and governance.
Language Requirements:
Cultural awareness and the ability to operate effectively within the KSA project environment are important. Proficiency in English is required, while knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
