The Reporting Specialist will support the project team by ensuring accurate data collection, timely reporting, and clear presentation of project performance information. This position is particularly suitable for early-career professionals looking to develop strong skills in project reporting and controls within a large Airport/Airfield project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect progress, schedule, and cost data from project teams, contractors, and consultants.
- Validate data accuracy and completeness before inclusion in reports.
- Maintain organized records of reporting inputs and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly project reports using approved templates.
- Update dashboards, charts, and tables reflecting project performance and KPIs.
- Ensure reports are issued on time and aligned with project reporting requirements.
- Support planning and project controls teams with progress tracking and updates.
- Assist in monitoring milestones, deliverables, and key activities.
- Highlight discrepancies or delays for review by the Reporting Lead.
- Assist in compiling cost data, expenditure reports, and basic forecasts.
- Track approved variations, commitments, and payment status as directed.
- Support reconciliation of cost and progress data.
- Maintain logs for risks, issues, and changes under guidance from senior team members.
- Update reporting dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Assist in improving data presentation and visualization clarity.
- Respond to basic reporting-related queries from stakeholders.
- Support audits and management reviews by providing required data and reports.
- Learn and apply project reporting standards and best practices.
- Stay updated on reporting tools and basic project controls concepts.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in reporting, project controls, or project administration.
- Exposure to infrastructure, construction, or airport projects is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; basic knowledge of Power BI or similar tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Experience working with dashboards and data visualization tools.
- Understanding of cost, schedule, and progress tracking fundamentals.
- Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven project environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within project controls and reporting functions.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is expected.
