Research Assistant in the Division of Science (Computer Science)

The Modern Compilers Lab in the Computer Science program at the company is seeking a Research Assistant to work at the intersection of compilers and deep learning. The focus will be on developing a programming framework called Tiramisu, which aims to perform advanced code optimizations that enhance performance across various hardware architectures (multicore, GPUs, FPGAs, and distributed machines). The ultimate goal is to implement automatic code optimization in Tiramisu, leveraging machine learning/deep learning techniques. The successful candidate will build upon an existing basic automatic optimization module to create a compiler pass that enables Tiramisu to autonomously select the optimal set of optimizations for a given unoptimized program.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates (On-site)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Internship or experience in the areas of compilers and artificial intelligence is highly desirable.
