The ideal candidate is self-motivated and hardworking with a Master's degree in Data Science, Computational Social Science, Computer Science, or Information Science, or a bachelor’s degree with significant experience and expertise in their field.
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time
Location: the company, Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Qualifications:
- Experience with at least one of the following: Data Science, Machine Learning, Computational Social Science, Big Data.
- Relevant skills may include statistical analysis, data management and collection, causal inference, network analysis, graph theory, visualizations, and online tool development.
- Experience in conducting online controlled experiments is desired but not required.
- Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and exhibit scientific creativity.
Selected candidates will work closely with Dr. Bedoor AlShebli, an Assistant Professor in Computational Social Science. The position offers a three-year appointment with a salary that is above internationally competitive rates for Post-Doctoral / Research Engineering / Research Associate positions, coupled with substantial benefits (including generous housing, transportation, and travel allowances, educational subsidies for children), full health insurance, and retirement contributions. The UAE does not levy income tax.
