The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure, developing automated data pipelines, integrating diverse scientific datasets, and implementing data governance and quality assurance frameworks. Working closely with faculty, researchers, software developers, and external collaborators, the Research Engineer will aid in the development of analytical platforms that support environmental monitoring, artificial intelligence applications, geospatial analytics, and long-term research data management.

Qualifications:
Candidates should hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience in Python, SQL, cloud computing, data engineering, and modern software development practices. Experience with scientific data, geospatial information, environmental monitoring systems, or research infrastructure is highly desirable.
