Research/ Post-Doctoral Associate in the Division of Science (Computer Science)

The laboratory of Dr. Djellel Difallah in the Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a Post-Doctoral Associate or Research Associate to join a lab focused on applied machine learning. The successful applicant will participate in research involving human computation, knowledge discovery, machine learning, and data science. This position offers the opportunity to develop applied research skills in machine learning, collaborate with an international network of researchers, and gain valuable post-doctoral research experience.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates (On-site)

Skills and Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field
• Strong foundation in one of the following areas: Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Knowledge Graph Representation, Recommender Systems, Graph Theory, or Network Science
• Proficiency in Python and up-to-date machine learning libraries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Track record of publishing in top-tier conferences
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a passion for AI and its applications
