Responsibilities Of The Position
Research
- Conduct world-class research in systems security and privacy.
- Write research articles and publish findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Collaborate with governmental entities and companies to deliver groundbreaking results.
Supervision
- Mentor PhD, master’s, and/or bachelor’s students.
- Work with students to enhance their research capabilities.
Service
- Assist the center in organizing workshops, conferences, competitions, etc. by contributing technically and/or administratively.
Essential Qualifications
- PhD in computer science/engineering with expertise in a security or privacy research topic.
- At least six years of relevant research experience in computer security, not including those spent obtaining a PhD or equivalent terminal degree, along with a solid record of research and publications in reputable journals and conferences, or comparable research accomplishments.
- Excellent analytical, design, and coding skills.
- Outstanding communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to take initiative.
