What You'll Be Doing:
- Supervise the work of site engineers and inspectors involved in the construction supervision of storm drainage and sewage work and associated works.
- Direct site supervision related to drainage and associated works, including pipes, manholes, chambers, and gullies.
- Coordinate activities with other discipline Resident Engineers to maintain consistency and integrity in overall construction.
- Review all shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, and any requests for information relating to drainage and associated works.
- Coordinate with the company's design Engineers to resolve related issues.
- Maintain a daily diary for the Resident Engineer and review diaries and reports from subordinates.
- Coordinate with the Contractor regarding scheduling and resource application.
- Direct, assist, and monitor the performance of the construction team supervising the drainage work and associated works, including site engineers, inspectors, and surveyors.
- Advise on contractual and construction matters regarding drainage, wet and dry utilities, utilities diversions, installations, and traffic management.
- Supervise, review, monitor, and report on the progress of drainage, wet and dry utilities, and associated works.
- Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee the implementation of safety procedures.
- Provide necessary on-site direction and issue site instructions concerning drainage works, utilities, and related activities.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university; a Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in roads and infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in a Resident Engineer or senior site supervision role on major infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience with UAE infrastructure projects and authority coordination.
- Demonstrated experience in contract administration, evaluation of Extension of Time (EOT), and variation assessment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent report writing and contractual correspondence drafting ability.

- Sound knowledge of contractual relationships.
- Proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer technology to access data, maintain records, and generate reports, as well as any project-specific engineering and construction software.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with excellent capabilities in technical writing and oral communication.
