Response Center Operator – Autonomous Vehicles

About the Role

We are seeking a Response Center Operator to monitor the operational status of autonomous vehicles and coordinate the appropriate response to incidents, accidents, and other operational emergencies. This position requires strong situational awareness, clear communication, and the ability to respond quickly and accurately to developing situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the real-time operational status of autonomous vehicles.
• Identify and respond to traffic accidents, emergencies, and operational incidents.
• Rapidly dispatch emergency work orders to relevant ground support teams.
• Coordinate on-site response activities with operational teams.
• Escalate incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with ground teams during incidents.
• Execute map interruption processes in accordance with operational guidelines.
• Monitor incident progress through to appropriate resolution or escalation.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, actions, and responses.
• Follow established emergency response and operational procedures at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a control room, command center, emergency response center, fleet monitoring environment, or similar operation is preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and decision-making ability.
• Ability to remain calm and focused during incidents or emergencies.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work with monitoring systems.
• Ability to follow escalation procedures accurately.
• Experience within transportation, automotive, logistics, or mobility operations would be advantageous.
