RF Design Engineer

The role holder is responsible for preparing RF designs for expansions and new setups across various technologies, evaluating mobile site selections, and ensuring integrated designs for Mobility and Fixed Services. Specific tasks include: developing new site candidates' evaluation and mobile site selection, preparing technical documents for tenders, developing technical specifications, and conducting technical evaluations of vendors' solutions. Additional responsibilities involve creating design guidelines and acceptance criteria tailored for various technologies to ensure quality in Mobility Services and IBS.

Responsibilities include preparing RF Designs for expansions, modernization, and new setups for GSM, LTE, 5G, Tetra, and other future technologies for access sites (including COWs) and IBS. The engineer will review and approve Method of Procedure (MOP) for RF scopes, develop Scope of Work for Mobility Services elements and IBS, and conduct analysis for mobile network requirements. Prioritizing project scope sites and preparing Nominal Cell Plans (NCP) are also key tasks. Supporting feasibility of national roaming requests and managing device testing and certification for CST are part of the role, as well as collaborating with Operations and Device vendors to resolve performance issues efficiently.

Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably in design for Mobility Services within the telecommunications industry, and hold a Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Electronics. A strong understanding of RF design principles and mobile network technologies is essential.

Work conditions for this role require managing inventory organizing, creating and maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with international standards throughout the design process. Collaboration across teams may be necessary for upgrades to support broader network deployments.
