RFID Systems Engineer

About the Role
The position involves providing advanced diagnostics at the system, application, and infrastructure levels. You will be responsible for conducting root-cause analysis for major and recurring incidents and ensuring a permanent fix is implemented. This role includes managing OEM back-to-back support cases, maintaining system configurations, firmware and software updates, and overseeing preventive maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced diagnostics at system, application, and infrastructure levels for the system.
• Carry out root-cause analysis for major and recurring incidents and own the permanent fix.
• Open and manage OEM back-to-back support cases under the same ticket and SLA clock.
• Own configuration, firmware, and software maintenance; coordinate manufacturer releases and upgrades.
• Own preventive maintenance procedures and predictive monitoring for the system.
• Maintain design documents, SOPs, and knowledge base; mentor and sign off Level-2 competence.
• Provide technical assessments to the Change Advisory Board for changes to the system.
• Maintain readers, antennas, and controllers; verify read rates and connectivity; tune performance with the OEM.

Requirements

• FEIG / Oculus RFID product training.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
