Ride Technician

About the Role
As a Ride Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of rides, attractions, and all related equipment in the waterpark. Your expertise will ensure the highest safety standards while delivering an exhilarating experience for guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all attractions and rides following the highest standards of safety.
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
• Diagnose any faults for all attractions and rides in the waterpark.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on rides and equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer’s specifications and waterpark standards.
• Conduct emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
• Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance work performed (both paper and electronic).
• Keep accurate inventory and write purchase order requests for items needed.
• Participate in the on-call program and respond both by phone and in person as necessary.
• Report all potential hazards, safety concerns, and accidents immediately.
• Ensure effective communication and good relations between the engineering department and other departments in the waterpark.
• Comply with Health and Safety Regulations.

Qualifications

• Secondary/High school education.
• Qualification in Trades Technician level, variety of engineering/maintenance.
• Basic computer skills in MS Office and ability to use BMS.
• Good proficiency in the English language.
