The RME Coordinator serves as a vital member of the Engineering RME function, working with the RMEAM, RME AE's, RMEP, and directly under the guidance of the RMEM. This role is strategically positioned to drive the management and continuous improvement of the company Robotics reliability through the disciplined application of continuous improvement tools and methodologies. At the heart of this position lies the ownership of asset performance optimization. The coordinator develops, facilitates, and implements comprehensive asset performance strategies utilizing advanced reliability techniques including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Criticality Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Through these methodologies, the role drives an optimized cost and reliability model, focusing on maximizing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) while minimizing Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) across all assigned asset areas. This data-driven approach leverages Asset Performance Management systems, inventory usage analytics, and reliability metrics to continuously identify opportunities for both performance enhancement and cost optimization. The position demands a proactive, analytical mindset combined with strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include providing strong leadership and direction to RME teams, engaging and developing team members, applying advanced engineering expertise to drive operational reliability, demonstrating systematic approaches to complex problem-solving, serving as a safety champion, communicating effectively across the organization, and managing maintenance schedules and projects. Requirements for the position include strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering, experience with reliability-centered maintenance principles, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and safety.
