Rotating Specialist

About the Role:
As a Rotating Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and achieving quality results in a timely manner. You will utilize specialized tools, carry out necessary testing, and follow procedures to meet project requirements effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Receive jobs, work instructions, drawings, and specifications from the Supervisor and perform work as required.
• Use the correct tools and equipment for the job and operate heavy-duty specialized tools taken from the Central tool room.
• Operate basic machine tools such as grinders, power saws, drill presses, threading machines, etc.
• Perform installation and maintenance work as per procedures and guidelines.
• Conduct necessary testing (Hydro, Pneumatic, etc.) before completing jobs.
• Obtain necessary work permits before commencing work.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure good housekeeping during and after job completion.
• Achieve completion of jobs according to quality and schedule standards set by the company.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in engineering or a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance for Diploma holders.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance for Degree holders.
• Expertise in Rotating Equipment.
• Well-organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills within large organizations.
• Strategic thinker, open to new ideas.
• Ability to achieve business results while working in a multi-cultural environment.
