About the Role & Opportunity:
The RPA Automation Specialist is responsible for:
- Analyzing and improving finance workflows, policies, and procedures to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure clarity, compliance, and consistency.
- Collaborating with finance stakeholders to define best practices and establish KPIs for process performance tracking.
- Conducting gap analysis to identify automation opportunities in areas such as Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Expense Management, and Tax Compliance.
- Developing a roadmap for automation, prioritizing projects based on timelines and expected ROI to align with the company’s digital transformation goals.
- Identifying and deploying automation solutions, including RPA, ERP integrations, AI, OCR, and workflow platforms in collaboration with IT and external vendors.
- Creating automated financial dashboards to improve reporting accuracy, cash flow forecasting, and risk assessments through AI-driven analytics.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting risk assessments, and providing training for finance teams on new automated processes.
Skills, Education & Experience Required:
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in finance process automation, digital transformation, or financial operations.
- Practical experience with RPA, AI-based finance solutions, and workflow automation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications in RPA tools, ERP systems, or Data Analytics (e.g., UiPath Certified RPA Developer, SAP FI Certification, Power BI Certification) are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of finance operations, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite) and BI/reporting tools.
