Roles and Responsibilities

  • Take all necessary precautions to protect the environment.
  • Ensure personal and co-worker safety through proper work practices and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Participate in company-required training programs as mandated by management.
  • Engage in daily toolbox talks and follow instructions from site coordinators and crew leaders.
  • Use and maintain all safety devices provided for the execution of delegated tasks.
  • Properly utilize tools under personal control and ensure the right tools are used for specific jobs.
  • Report to work in appropriate clothing, avoiding attire and jewelry that could pose safety hazards.
  • Perform work in a safe, alert manner, being aware of unseen dangers or situations.
  • Prioritize personal and others’ safety over job performance.
  • Maintain a clean work area and uphold housekeeping standards.
  • Perform film interpretation across various job types, adhering to approved procedural requirements.
  • Identify techniques used in accordance with project requirements.
  • Conduct densitometer calibrations and demonstrations per project-specific approved procedures.
  • Verify joint details on films as per client requests.
  • Classify indications from actual discontinuities, weld geometry, and film artifacts accurately.
  • Interpret specific code requirements related to Radiographic Testing.
  • Assess sensitivity requirements and evaluate indications based on acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare final radiographic examination reports according to approved report formats.
  • Submit timesheets on time and return approved timesheets to the office according to management guidelines.
  • Remain knowledgeable about other NDT methods and coordinate with multi-channel phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) and other teams for timely report and timesheet submissions.
  • Perform inspection activities aligned with project scope and site conditions to minimize waiting and resource wastage.
