We are seeking a Senior Rust Engineer with deep trading systems experience and strong AWS knowledge to join our core Capital Markets division. This role is open to candidates located in European time zones.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize low-latency trading systems
- Own key trading stack components from architecture to production operation
- Collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to enhance trading performance and resilience
- Maintain and improve trading infrastructure focusing on performance, stability, and operational excellence
- Troubleshoot complex production issues related to exchange connectivity and market data handling
- Drive engineering standards through technical leadership and mentoring
- Leverage AI-assisted workflows and contribute to testing for trading components
Background and Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Production-grade Rust experience, especially with high-performance, concurrent systems; proficiency with Tokio is advantageous
- Hands-on experience in systematic trading environments (HFT, Market Making, etc.)
- Strong AWS and Linux expertise for latency-sensitive workloads
- Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages
- Familiarity with trading system protocols (FIX, REST, WebSocket) and market data feeds
- Knowledge of low-latency networking and associated techniques
