YOUR ROLE
As an HVAC Technician, you will report to the Plant Supervisor and work closely with the Engineering team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Responding promptly to guest requests, maintenance concerns, and engineering work orders through designated communication systems.
- Troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and operational disruption.
- Monitoring systems, taking operational readings, and maintaining accurate maintenance records and logbooks.
- Maintaining safe working practices, including compliance with lockout/tagout procedures and hotel safety standards.
- Supporting the Engineering team through effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to operational standards.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Experience maintaining HVAC, mechanical, or building systems within a hotel, resort, or commercial environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, building systems, and workplace safety practices.
- Organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfort with maintenance management systems and mobile communication devices.
- Fluency in English and a passion for working collaboratively within a team environment.
