Responsibilities
As the HSE Inspector, your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
- Implement the requirements of the company project HSE management plan.
- Implement client HSE procedures and reporting requirements.
- Review and approve contractor’s HSE documents (e.g., HSE Plan, JSA, Method Statements / Risk Assessments, and PTW).
- Carry out daily HSE inspections, weekly HSE assessments, and monthly HSE audits.
- Track the closure of prohibition and improvement notices issued to the Contractor.
- Oversee incident investigations and monitor the implementation of identified corrective actions.
- Attend and contribute to project health and safety meetings and management safety walks.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 to 10 years of career experience, complemented by a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is required.
- Project experience working on Apartment projects is essential.
- Completion of the Abu Dhabi Occupational Health and Safety (OSHAD) Practitioners Course is necessary.
- ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification is required as well.
