Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a minimum of 8 years total experience in engineering or consultancy within oil and gas facilities, including at least 5 years of TSE experience in Onshore Oil and Gas facilities, with a focus on PDO/Shell Projects preferred.
- Engage in project TSE experiences spanning various lifecycle stages such as Feasibility, Concept, FEED, Execution, and Project to Asset Transition.
- Develop and implement HSE Philosophy, Fire & Gas Philosophy, cause and effects analysis, layouts, and mapping.
- Conduct Physical Effects Modelling and Quantitative Risk Assessments, with experience in FEA/FGDEA, flare radiation and dispersion studies, safety equipment layouts, and facility siting/layout studies. Familiarity with Shell FRED, SHEPHERD software, or similar PEM/Risk integration software is preferred, with formal certification being an advantage.
- Execute studies related to Safety Hazardous Area Classification, Critical Element Identification, Performance Standards, and Bow Ties.
- Apply knowledge of ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) principles, Design HSE Cases, Operations HSE Cases, AIPSM (Asset Integrity-Process Safety Management), and HEMP (Hazard and Effect Management Process).
- Utilize hands-on experience with loss prevention aspects such as Fire Safety and Protection Design including hydraulic aspects, and development of PFDs/P&IDs.
- Conduct Human Factors Engineering Studies such as Valve Criticality and HFE Screening.
- Facilitate or lead workshops for Technical Safety, covering HAZID, HAZOP, Bowties, ALARP demonstrations, and other related topics.
- Participate in Safeguarding reviews, including Design Review, HAZOP, and IPF evaluations.
- Engage in Vendor document evaluations, including Technical Bid Evaluations and specifications.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering is essential.
- Significant experience and demonstrated capability in TSE deliverables and safety-related studies in the oil and gas sector.
