Safety Trainer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Safety Trainer to join our team in the Oil & Energy industry. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and emergency preparedness of our workforce. As a Safety Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering training programs and developing safety training materials to enhance the knowledge and skills of the employees in the organization. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a safe working environment in the Oil & Gas sector.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safety training programs to employees, ensuring they understand safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Develop and update training materials to reflect industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.
• Provide guidance on safety and environmental regulations and compliance within the workplace.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in safety training, methodologies, and technologies.

Requirements
Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health or Environmental Science, OR
• Associate Degree or two-year Diploma in Industrial Safety or Safety Training, OR
• High School or Vocational School Diploma in Industrial Safety or Safety Training.

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Minimum score requirements:

    • Computer-Based: 171

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

• Experience in Oil & Gas and knowledge of the Petrochemical industry.
• Expertise in Safety and Emergency procedures.
• Understanding of Sociology, Health, and Environment.
• Familiarity with Environmental standards.
• Certified in OSHA, NEBOSH, and NSC.
• Training and instructional delivery skills.

Work Experience

• With Degree: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the Oil & Gas field.
• Without Degree: Minimum of eleven (11) years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
