About the Role
The Safety Trainer will be responsible for teaching and certifying students in safety matters within the oil and gas sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring that personnel are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
• Certify students upon successful completion of training.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct assessments and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest safety practices and regulations in the industry.

Qualifications

• Education:

  • Local/Expat with Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health or Environment, OR Associate Degree or two-year Diploma in Industrial Safety or Safety Training.
  • Expat without Degree: High School or Vocational School Diploma in Industrial Safety or Safety Training.

• Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in both spoken and written Arabic and English.

• Minimum Score Requirements:

  • IELTS: 6.0
  • Internet-Based: 60
  • Paper-Based: 498
  • Computer-Based: 171

• Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Knowledge of the petrochemical industry.
  • Expertise in safety and emergency procedures.
  • Understanding of sociology, health, and environment.
  • Familiarity with environmental standards.
  • Certified in OSHA, NEBOSH, and NSC.
  • Training and instructional delivery skills.

• Work Experience:

  • With Degree: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the Oil & Gas field.
  • Without Degree: Minimum of eleven (11) years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
