Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-sales technical support and guidance to the sales team and customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting features and benefits.
- Address and resolve technical inquiries and issues during the sales process.
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and deliver customized presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and plans.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including RFPs and RFQs.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other promotional events as required.
- Stay up to date with the latest product developments, features, and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; relevant industry certifications and experience are also considered.
- Hands-on experience with data warehouse and data lake platforms, both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Proficient in SQL and Python; additional experience with modern data technologies and tools (e.g., Spark, containers, DevOps) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch or other data analytics platforms is a significant advantage.
- Experience with data science and machine learning technologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends in Saudi Arabia.
