Job Description

  • Work on sales within the Company Business Unit of Engineering and Solutions (Instrumentations).
  • Manage the entire sales process in the allotted vertical with the ability to work with a multi-disciplinary portfolio.
  • Support the team for growth at the Business Unit level and the Company.
  • Work and coordinate with the sales team for all costing and estimation processes pertaining to the Bulk Trading Section.

Duties and Responsibilities
Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the allotted sector, understanding their requirements.

Technical Sales

  • Provide technical expertise related to our business segment of Instrumentations and Engineering Solutions, guiding clients through product selection based on their specific needs.

Proposal Development

  • Provide all-inclusive details (technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines) to support the estimation team in preparing comprehensive proposals.

Estimation and Bidding

  • Work closely with internal teams, including proposal, engineering, Sales Order management, and product development, to ensure successful completion of sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Source and float enquiries to suppliers, manufacturers, or subcontractors.
  • Prepare cost sheets (direct & indirect costs, temporary facilities, and other related costs).
  • Review commercial terms and condition documents.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals as per client requirements.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and principals on both technical and commercial aspects of products.
  • Maintain ISO documentation, record keeping, and Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Communications.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 years working as a Sales Engineer in a similar business or industry.
  • Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle preferred.
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build value for the customer and establish trust and rapport.
  • Deep understanding and know-how of the product portfolio.
  • Ability to align product benefits with customer pain points and offer tailored solutions.
