Job Description
- Work on sales within the Company Business Unit of Engineering and Solutions (Instrumentations).
- Manage the entire sales process in the allotted vertical with the ability to work multi-disciplinary portfolio.
- Support the team for growth at the Business Unit level and the company.
- Coordinate with the sales team for all costing and estimation process pertaining to the Bulk Trading Section.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the allotted sector, understanding their requirements.
Technical Sales
- Provide technical expertise related to our business segment of Instrumentations and Engineering Solutions, guiding clients through product selection based on their specific needs.
Proposal Development
- Provide all-inclusive details (technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines) to support the estimation team to prepare comprehensive proposals.
Estimation and Bidding
- Work closely with internal teams, including proposal, engineering, Sales Order management, and product development, to ensure successful completion of the sales process and customer satisfaction.
- Source and float enquiries to suppliers/manufacturers/subcontractors.
- Prepare cost sheets (Direct & indirect cost, temporary facilities and other related costs).
- Review commercial terms and condition documents.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals as per client requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers and principals on both technical and commercial aspects of product.
- Maintain ISO documentation and record keeping, and manage suppliers/manufacturers data bank records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Communications.
Experience Requirements
- At least 5 years working as a Sales Engineer in a similar business or industry.
- Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle preferred.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams.
- HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
