- Partner with Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role
- Showcase Appspace product solutions
- Set up demonstrations and explain features and benefits to customers and partners
- Partner with Customer Success and Enhanced Services teams as a post-sales subject matter expert
- Understand customer business needs and define solutions
- Requires excellent communication skills on both technical and business levels
A Day in the Life of a Sales Engineer:
- Provide technical and sales support for customers
- Lead opportunities through the sales process from a technical perspective
- Perform technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects
- Assist in developing formal sales plans and proposals
- Act as an SME for ongoing implementations and deployments
- Collaborate with Enhanced Services and Customer Success teams
What You’ll Need:
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- In-depth knowledge of pre-sales product and engineering skills
- Knowledge of relevant solutions sets and product line specifications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively across teams
- Prior sales or solution architect experience preferred
