The job holder is responsible for contributing to the monthly sales targets to ensure achievement of the team’s annual sales and customer satisfaction targets, specifically in the passenger car retail business. This role involves appropriately following the sales process from actual sales to handing over to the customer, conducting market intelligence activities, and creating opportunities for acquiring new business.

Job Responsibilities
- Maintain an active customer profile database to ensure all relevant details are up to date, including accurate collection of customer and vehicle information and input in the Dealer Management System.
- Make recommendations on sales strategies and follow all steps of the sales process to attract and retain customers long-term. This includes activities such as prospecting, generating appointments, consultations, presentations, negotiations, trading appraisals for used cars, objection handling, closure, vehicle delivery, and post-sale follow-up.
- Conduct personal visits to understand customer’s requirements and assess their current situation to establish needs. Provide technical information regarding product performance, features, options/application versus pricing.
- Negotiate optimum deals and sell vehicles at maximum margins to acquire and retain customers long-term and maximize company profit according to company policies.
- Coordinate with the concerned department member to order vehicles promptly if not readily available, tracking the arrival of vehicles and updating customers on any delays.
- Collect payments as per set deadlines to ensure timely payment and minimize customer credit risk.
- Coordinate vehicle delivery to customers and ensure that delivery process requirements are met for customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all related documents and necessary paperwork are completed.
- Assist and advise customers on requirements for bank/insurance approvals.
- Coordinate with Service or the person-in-charge for pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and timely delivery.
- At the time of delivery, demonstrate the vehicle’s operating features, including service, warranty, and location of service centers/facilities.
- Maintain an owner follow-up system to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat or referral business.
- Ensure vehicles are properly displayed in the showroom in coordination with the branch in charge to raise awareness of the company’s products.
- Prepare reports such as weekly plans, activity and results reports, and issues resolution to present and review with management.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor Degree, preferably in the Automotive industry
Experience
- 2 years of sales experience within the automotive industry
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong knowledge of product and market
- Sound financial awareness and business acumen
- UAE Driving License required
- Relationship Management Skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in English (additional regional languages, including Arabic, would be an advantage)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
