About the Role:
The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving and exceeding unit sales and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) targets for the branch. This role requires the smooth operation of the showroom and efficient team management to maximize customer satisfaction and foster business growth. The manager must ensure adherence to company guidelines and maintain financial health through proper cash and receivables management. Additionally, the manager is responsible for overseeing the branch's compliance with safety standards and addressing any customer or operational issues promptly. The role also involves representing the company in the respective Emirate while maintaining corporate standards and image.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure that sales standards for the location are achieved and maintained to enhance the company's image and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure budgeted unit sales and gross margins for the branch are achieved or exceeded.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's sales system, prospecting system, and target achievement regarding the number of prospects logged, trade-ins, and F&I products.
  • Ensure achievement of CSV objectives for the sales function to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat sales.
  • Ensure customer/associate engagement is enhanced and customer complaints are resolved through necessary actions.
  • Guide, motivate, and control location staff to maximize performance.
  • Identify staff training and development needs and communicate these to management for the arrangement of necessary training.
  • Accountable for employee engagement scores and human sigma level for the branch.
  • Ensure company procedures are adhered to while handling cash and account receivables.
  • Implement the company's credit control policy to ensure cash safety and minimize bad debts.
  • Control the location’s new vehicle stock for security and availability.
  • Ensure proper upkeep and maintenance of location premises and assets to improve company image.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Leadership to manage and guide a team effectively.
  • Proven sales and marketing acumen in the automotive industry.
  • Strong customer care and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical skills for competitor analysis and strategic planning.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Graduate in any discipline, preferably with an MBA.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in direct selling of consumer durables, primarily in the automotive industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
  • Proficient in selling, marketing, and customer care.
  • Competent to lead a team of sales executives, comprehend modern auto vehicle construction and features, and coach sales executives on selling techniques and customer care.
