The Solutions Engineer (SE) is a sales and technical role focused on supporting customers and partners within the XC Specialist sales organization. The SE's primary responsibility is to aid the sales team with technical expertise and knowledge about F5 Distributed Cloud, while achieving allocated sales targets. The SE acts as a trusted adviser, understanding technical and business challenges and proposing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Articulate the F5 product strategy, messaging, and positioning of F5 Distributed Cloud’s value proposition.
- Provide technical expertise through various mediums, including in-person and virtual presentations.
- Drive the sales process in partnership with the Account Manager by identifying and validating technical opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal technical and sales resources to share best practices and expertise.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of related industry experience.
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with secure Cloud architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, multi-cloud design, and application-related products.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, and Grafana.
- Software development experience in languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications in the industry are a plus.
