We are seeking a Salesforce Engineer to join our Business Systems team. This individual will work with a variety of business systems, delivering high-quality engineering solutions aimed at enhancing Canonical's business operations. The role involves developing solutions within systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce, collaborating on business specifications and technical designs, and engaging in code reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems
- Collaborate with team members on specifications and designs
- Learn and understand Canonical's business processes
- Support and mentor colleagues, providing career development feedback when appropriate
- Promote great engineering practices within the organization
Requirements:
- Exceptional academic record with an undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling alternative path
- Proven experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar CRM/ERP systems
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
- Result-oriented mindset with a strong personal drive to meet commitments
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events (up to two weeks long)
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in performance engineering and security
- Knowledge of accounting, sales, sales operations, or other business roles
