We are seeking a Business Systems Engineer with Salesforce experience who aims for high engineering quality and process efficiency, continually seeks improvement, and applies their skills actively. This opportunity allows engagement with several popular business systems to enhance Canonical's business operations. The Business Systems team collaborates closely with operations and other engineering teams and is responsible for systems, such as NetSuite and Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop engineering solutions in NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business systems
- Collaborate on business specifications, technical designs, and code reviews
- Learn Canonical business processes
- Mentor and coach other team members according to seniority
- Promote effective engineering and organizational practices
Requirements:
- Exceptional academic track record, including high school and university
- Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about alternative paths
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or other CRM/ERP systems
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
- Result-oriented with a personal drive to meet commitments
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks for company events
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Performance engineering and security experience
- Familiarity with accounting, sales, sales operations, or related business roles
Work Conditions:
- Fully remote position based in the EMEA region
- Distributed work environment with in-person team sprints twice a year
