We are looking for a Salesforce QA Engineer who approaches quality with an engineering mindset. At our organization, Salesforce is where our sales, retention, partner, and support teams work every day. Much of what they see is fetched live from other systems and varies by role, region, and regulated entity. You will test custom Lightning Web Components, the automations behind them, and the integrations with other systems, planning the edge cases, querying the data and proving what is really happening. If you enjoy writing SOQL to validate complex data, testing APIs with Postman, and owning the quality of a feature from refinement to release, we’d like to hear from you.

What you’ll own

  • Collaborate closely with other product streams and technical teams to understand the end-to-end business process, looking beyond the immediate Salesforce implementation to grasp where data originates, how it transforms, and its downstream impact.
  • Test features end to end across LWC screens and business logic, from lead conversion and assignment to client lifecycle and partner changes.
  • Validate complex CRM processes including client onboarding, automated account assignment, and multi-region regulatory compliance rules.
  • Validate end-to-end financial workflows: KYC/verification document pipelines, trading account lifecycle management, and deposit/withdrawal processing.
  • Verify bi-directional API data exchange between Salesforce, proprietary services, third-party trading platforms (e.g., MT4/MT5), and payment gateways.
  • Test inbound and outbound REST integrations with Postman, covering payloads, status codes, negative cases, simulated errors and integration logs.
  • Verify the Salesforce security model by running scenarios as each persona, such as relationship managers, BDMs, partner agents and support staff.
  • Design and maintain test plans, test cases and regression suites in Jira and Qmetry.
  • Investigate root causes, log high-quality defect reports with detailed reproduction steps, and partner closely with developers through resolution.
  • Add acceptance criteria and edge cases in refinement, and run regression in stage and UAT before each release.
  • Build and maintain automated UI regression for key user journeys with Playwright.
  • Review and refine AI-generated test cases and Playwright scripts against acceptance criteria and designs.
  • Propose improvements to our test process, tooling and release checks.
  • Own test strategy and release quality as the only QA engineer in your product stream, working alongside the wider Salesforce QA team.

What you’ll need
Essential

  • 3+ years of hands-on software testing in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • A solid grasp of standard and custom objects, relationships, Person Accounts, record types, automation and platform limits.
  • Thorough understanding of the Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets and groups, custom permissions, roles, sharing rules and FLS.
  • SOQL for data validation using Developer Console or the sf CLI.
  • API testing with Postman: REST, JSON, authentication, HTTP status codes and error paths.
  • Jira and a test management tool such as QMetry, Xray or Zephyr.
  • Test design techniques: boundary values, equivalence classes, state transitions and role-based matrices.
  • Hands-on UI test automation with Playwright or an equivalent framework, such as Selenium or Cypress.
  • Proven ability to onboard rapidly, take full ownership of feature quality, work independently, and make proactive decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data generation and manipulation using tools like Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector, or Workbench.
